Whole30 Banana & Almond Butter Sandwich

Outside in March with the Baby 082-001Peanut butter and banana was one of my favorite pre-Whole30 combinations. Slice that banana up and stick it with the peanut butter on some BREAD and you just about have yourself a medal-winning snack. Except high in all things that you don’t need (gluten, carbs, fat, calories, etc.) a very yummy, very NON-Whole30 snack.

Still… a snack I kind of miss.

So, I got to thinking and came up with this Whole30 Banana & Almond Butter “Sandwich” that is sure to rock your socks and it’s kid friendly too!

Here’s how it’s done:

What you need:

Banana

Raw/Unsweetened Almond Butter

Unsweetened Coconut flakes

What to do:

Slice the banana in half length-wise

Outside in March with the Baby 077

Use a butter knife to spread a layer of almond butter on one half of the banana

Outside in March with the Baby 079

Top with coconut flakes

Outside in March with the Baby 081

Place remaining half of banana on top

Outside in March with the Baby 083

Voila! Banana & Almond Butter “sandwich”! So yummy!

Enjoy.
